Lynn is a Realtor® specializing in sustainable real estate. She works with clients to identify green properties and locate suitable infill sites for retrofit. She also has the knowledge to effectively market green properties.
She has her Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors®. Because of her extensive background Lynn was chosen to be a peer reviewer for the course material and also teaches the Green Designation course to other Realtors. Lynn says "It is so satisfying to see Realtors® wanting to become knowledgeable and educate themselves and others about sustainable living. Demand for healthy, efficient and eco-friendly homes is on the rise. Realtors® who know what to look for will be more successful because they and their clients will not get "green-washed".”
Lynn practices what she preaches and is one of the founding members of the Green Realtors® Alliance of Sarasota. The mission of the alliance is “To be a resource for the preservation of our environment and natural resources as it pertains to real estate.” She also spends volunteer time as a Master Conservationist at the Florida House for Sustainable Living. There she educates and assist homeowners on ways they can retrofit sustainability into their homes and lives.
In addition to being a Realtor®, She is a LEED for Homes Field Agent and a Florida Green Building Coalition Certifying Agent. As an agent Lynn guides designers, builders and homebuyers through the process of qualifying and documenting green homes.
